Whether you are looking to build a car with aggressive visuals or a highly modified/swapped drive train, this HR31 Skyline is a great inexpensive platform to jump into the world of imports. While not as highly sought after as the R32, this platform still has incredible potential.
The R31 Skyline of 1986 was a natural evolution on the R30 shape, and also this one was loosely based on the Laurel platform (C32). The design was slightly larger and squarer than previous Skylines. It was available as a Sedan, Hardtop sedan, Coupe and station wagon. The HR31 was the first Skyline to be equipped with the new RB-series of engines.
